Saturday, October 31, 2026 - Meet the Great Pumpkin at the triangle and Halloween Parade & Festival on Welborn between Ramsgate and Gloster.
Escorted by Fire Trucks from GEFD the Great Pumpkin will begin his annual drive through the neighborhood at 5:45 from the Triangle. You'll hear us coming. We should reach the intersection of Welborn and Gloster just after 6pm and slowly drive up Welborn to the Triangle.
The Great Pumpkin will start giving out candy around 6:20 p.m. and will be at the Triangle until about 8pm or when the kids stop coming
Welborn Drive from the Triangle to Woodacres Drive, will be blocked off from 6pm to 8:30 pm to protect the children running from house to house.
You can still access the neighborhood via Mass Ave and Ramsgate; however, you will have to turn left on Newburn.
A big thank you to Vic Waye who for years drove the Great Pumpkin. Vic just moved to Connecticut. Jim Lystad has graciously stepped up to help continue this tradition
We still need volunteers to help the Great Pumpkin between 7pm and 8pm. If you can volunteer for 15 or 30 minutes it will be a great help
